new to this..help on plant trimming

i have some plants that are doing better than others!!..thats for sure.. they seem to be long stem plants with smaller green/reddish leaves. Any advice on trimming and prep for re-use would be much appreciated, cheers
 
Hi, the best way to trim stem plants is to cut them to the height you want. Then you can either discard the bottom section of plant and replant the cutting in its place, or you can replant the cutting and then the bottom section should send out new shoots. Alternatively, if you cut the very tops off the plants they will send out new shoots lower down the stem, this way you will get a nice bushy plant. Hope this helps.
