Oase BioMaster External Filter Fitting

Hi, Has anyone fitted one of these into a Juwel Rio 180 cabinet (old style with shelf in the middle)?

The sizing online looks like it would be too wide unless I fit in the middle of the cabinet and cut a hole in the back, but that means the filter is then on show.

Any suggestions welcome 🙂
