I just watched this show on BBC2 (first of a series I think) thinking it would be laugh seeing Prescott making an idiot of himself a la the hamiltons.
Surprisingly I found myself warming to him rather than laughing at him and also quite sorry for how insecure he seems to feel in the trappings he has. Almost as if he is ashamed of what he has.
I do have to add I am staunch Tory and hate the whole 'working party' fakeness that labour stands for which was originally why I decided to watch it. Strange how the medias portrayal of someone can give such false impressions of them or at least only show one side of them.
Did anyone else watch it? Any opinions
