Couple of short videos showing fish in their natural habitats, thought it might give some inspiration to anybody trying to re create this type of biotope.
Also gives readings for conductivity, ph and temperature.

These bleeding heart tetras (Hyphessobrycon socolofi) were imported in Ukraine through their fish conservation programme

But for correct replication of natural biotopes you'll need to consult scientific websites and communicate personally with locals.

BTW, does anybody here keep a blackwater aquarium?

Hi,

I'm late to the party, but I keep three blackwater tanks. Another one was blackwater, but tannins have disappeared quite a bit.
