stag algae

my tank is just over 100 litres i had a problem with my co2 regulator and i got stag algae on some of my plants and the aquarium glass i have sorted the co2 now and changed the plants my question is how much excel can i add to this volume of water i have cardinals amano shrimp and some cherry shrimp thanks gary

Hi Gary, you should be able to double recommended dose for a while to overcome the algae I think the norm is 1ml per 50 litres so you could go 3-4ml spot dosing takes a while but is effective just turn filters off for 5-10 mins and dose affected plants with a pipette then turn filter back on.
