I have a 110 litre aquarium that I am adding a Seachem Tidal filter. The manufacturer says the Tidal 35 is suitable to 130 litres. Should I accept this or go one up to Tidal 55? Little différance in price, from the aesthetics the smaller, the better, but it had to do the job. Thanks.

Hi Robert
Flow is king in a planted aquarium, I would go with Seachem Tidal 75......not sure what you think of the 110 to-large.
Filtration in the below journal was eventually a Seachem Tidal 75
Cheers

I’m running external canister filters on a 37L and a 60L and the flow is hardly excessive. Just a thought. 😉
