What Osmocote fertilizer are you using and why?

Osmocote make many plant fertilizers.

What do you use and why that particular variety?
If you do use Osmocote how do you use it and how often?

Sorry, I realized I forgot to answer the second part of the question. Why, well because there isn’t much brand choices to start with and because other nutrients are supplied via the water column, so the balanced version of the osmocote makes it simple afterwards.

I try to use any variety that takes longer to break down. That way it should last longer, and keep the plants happier for longer too. Warm aquarium water will increase the rate of decomposition and fertz release.
I just chuck a small handful in with the substrate. Much cheaper than root tabs which are often composed of Osmocote anyway.
