which tubes

Hi all,

It looks like I am going to be stuck with 2 x 54w on my 6x2x2 as that seems to be the highest watt available unless I go down the DIY route.

I would prefer 2 x 80w the only ones I have found are second hand singles.

So what colour bulbs would be best if the tubes are side by side ?

Normaly I would go with a plant tube at the back and daylight at the front but this wont work for me in this situation.

Any suggestions appreciated.

just looked again and it shows single colours sorry

When I first looked I must of scrolled to far down as all I could see was the mixed tubes but when I looked again I noticed that it showed the single tubes at the top.

It was a quick post from work so probably did not make much sense.......

I am probably just going to go the DIY route and get a 2x 80w ballast.

That way I can have a tube front and back instead of side by side.
