Hi all,
Just sharing my ADA style aquarium build using injection method. Took me 4 attempts to get it right. From the conventional method of putting glass panes to together to somewhat neat and easy injection method.

April 27th first attempt that failed

Final build June 27th: It is not as good as I want but will do for now. Next build should be better.

Dimensions: 30" L X 20" H X 13" B, 10 mm, front and side extra clear glass bottom and rear regular glass. I have seen bigger brace-less tanks made with 10 mm glass but I will brace it on top front to back and corners with extra clear glass.

Glass was not cut to perfection .. the way I wanted it .. so had to use 2mm tile spacers instead of 3mm (it is a task to carry 12mm glass to the grinder to fine tune edges) Bit of silicon wasted and not so smooth DIY experience. Fine end result with a bit of forearm soreness. So much diff using 2mm VS 3mm gaps!

Wow. I admire you for giving it ago. I would had stuck to a nano with my skills!
Hope it works out for you.
Simon.

I modded my sump to house a much bigger single BCB, got more clay (Oil-Dri) There was no real need as everything was fine before but I did it anyway. I am dealing with 40 ppm nitrates in tap water lol, so doing what I can. .5.jpg1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg9.jpg10.jpg11.jpg12.jpg13.jpg15.jpg16.jpg17.jpg18.jpg5.jpg4.jpg3.jpg2.jpg.5.jpg1.jpg6.5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg9.jpg10.jpg11.jpg12.jpg13.jpg15.jpg16.jpg17.jpg18.jpg
