air line hose

can i use normal air line hose if i use co2 hose near all the wet parts and use a non return valve between the to tubes thanks guys

Hi Danmil3s

Normal airline hose will be attacked by the CO2 and perish in a very short space of time. Then you'll end up with a leak and lose all your CO2
Better to play it safe and get proper CO2 hose for the whole of your CO2 installation.

Ok thanks wasnt sure if it was only when the co2 came in to contact with water and became an acid it was a problem got to run a line 10m so was looking for a cheap way out thanks

Couldnt find co2 at that lengh guess ill have to join shorter bits together

PM a seller that sells CO2 hosing asking if they do long sizes and most will do 10m you will find out.
They just sell short lengths as not many people want a 10m long tube for CO2.

I did think about that just wanted to check the air line route would have been about £6
