Being new to Riccia, I took some advise as to how to attach it to wood/rock etc. - most people advocated using fine fishing wire.
I tried this method at first with very limited success - as soon as any flow got near to it it seemed to dissappear to the surface.
I've found what I think is a better solution. I purchased some what can only be described as fine elasticated webbing on Ebay. I've put the Riccia on wood and then put the elasticated webbing around it and used some tie-wraps or fishing line at each end of the webbing. The Riccia very quickly grows through the webbing making it invisible and whats more important to me the Riccia stays where I put it.
