Im looking to set up a new Iwagumi. Ive been aquascaping to a point for a year and know a few plants i want. The problem i have is with Cuba which i believe needs lots of CO2 and light. CO2 is not a problem but the lights are i believe a litre to high to have the right effect. Therefore could you please advise on the easiest carpet plants for this. thanks

You need a copy of octobers PKF, it is all about iwagumi layouts and carpet plants, hairgrasses etc :)

Hello,
There are no carpet plants that "need" lots of light. This is THE single quickest path to disaster. All carpet plants do need good CO2 so you should focus your efforts on having excellent distribution methods to the substrate.

Cheers,

What is PKF? Is it available online (PDF format)? Perhaps via Apple App Store?

Thanks

Thanks

Maybe its a miss spell of PFK, Practical Fish Keeping magazine :)

OK, thanks. I see they have an iPad app so will check that out later.

£3.99 per download sounds expensive though. How much is the magazine?
