Co2 hose, anything easier to work with?

Trying to set up my new tank today and lost my temper with my co2 hose!

I'm trying to connect up an ADA Pollen type diffuser and ADA glass u bend. The diffuser I just about managed, but the u bend is impossible.

I have been literally holding the end of the tube in a pan of boiling water and it still does not stretch enough to fit.

Can I use regular air line that is much easier to work with? Don't really care if it goes off and needs replacing once every few months! Cheaper than breaking the glass and also less painful!

If you look at the ADA guides they do use airline for any glass connections but they try to ensure the minimal amount is used.

CO2 hose is so inflexible. I use airline from stop valve to diffuser.
