My axlotl eats it, but I wouldn't advise keeping one with fish, or even anything that isn't at least 1 /12 times his size but doesn't bite.
I just net it out, regularly, it's growth has slowed down to switching to a higher light setup with CO2 and ferts as the plants are taking more nutrients so out competing it.
