Would a few of you be able to make some recommendations for some easy to grow plants for a 35l Nano please.
I'm thinking of not more than 3 or 4 different types and quite like the look of some of the Mosses out there if suitable. Open to all suggestions but a "contrasty" mix of form would be nice. No CO2 but I have some EasyCarbo if needed.
Hardscaping will likely be Manado substrate, a piece of sandblasted grapevine and some small pieces of rock of some sort.
Thanks in advance.

Also, Are there any good up to date reference style books on Aquarium plants that are worth getting?

Hi there,
check out freshwatershrimp sponsor site, they specialise in mosses and liveworts..... there are some cool mosses and mini pelias, all listed as c02/non co2, high light/low light, tropical/coldwater..... should be bulletproof... im about to try some out with liquid carbon c02 supplement only so we shall see!
Cheerio,
Ady.

OK, here are my two low tech 25l tanks (medium/low light, barely any ferts except what was in the ADA Aquasoil, no CO2)...

1. Eleocharis acicularis, Lileaopsis brasiliensis, Microsorum pteropus 'trident', bolbitis heudelotii, willow moss.

2. Hygrophila pinnitifada, Hygrophila sp. "araguaia", Cyperus helferi, Blyxa japonica. The blyxa is looking a little sorry for itself as it is still melting following from the move from a high tech tank, but there's new root and leaf growth so think it should be fine.

Should give you an idea of how the plants look in these sort of conditions, anyway.

Ooh I see :) What's the difference between them and Boraras Briggitae ?
Sparkling gourami's look great in heavily planted nano's IMO. They search and explore everything!
