First real attempt

This is my first real attempt at a planted tank.
After 30+ years of keeping fish and not really having much success with plants I purchased a fluvel flex and thought I'd give it a real go.
Advice and suggestions more then welcome.
I call this the hideaway as I wanted to create a little cave like entrance in the centre with the Christmas moss.

Welcome, and it appears you have set yourself on the right track. The only suggestion I would make is the topping and replanting of the Alternanthera for now.
