Hi
I recently added some salvinia to my planted tank. Loving the look as the roots grow and it seems to be spreading well but, the flow from my JBL e1901 blows them to the other side of the tank. Bunching them up and Occasionally pushing some under water. I have decent surface aggitation but don't want to cause problems for the salvinia. The outflow is about 3 inches below the surface and creates a good circular flow via an open pipe so don't want to change position so my question
How important is surface agitation. I could lower the outflow more and stil keep good flow for co2 but may lose surface ripple. Is it better to just deal with the salvinia bunching a little? Surely heavy jungle scapes dont have much ripple?
