We use gluyteraldehyde at work as a sanitiser and I am wondering what people dilute it as? I understand that it is dangerous although I am interested in knowing more about it. The stuff at work is 150 g/l and 100 g/l quartenary ammonium compounds.
Hey Beast, the beast - ever heard of bryan jensen? haha, never mind....i dont understand what you mean by "what people dilute it as". If you mean its usages in the trade then other than a cold sterilizer i've heard of it been used as a carbon source, Excel uses it as its main ingredient.
You don't want to be putting that stuff in your tank. Glutaraldehyde is bad enough but definetly not QAC's. If you use it at work as a sanitiser then it will also do a good job of sanitising your tank.
