Hi, I adore ponds and aquatic plants and after growing plants acquired during lockdown innumerable tubs and troughs my husband has finally built me a beautiful raised formal pond into which these have been transferred. They are now establishing and I attach photos of them looking beautiful even in the frost and ice. I am amazed at the wonderful water hawthorn which stays green and even flowers in the cold and how they contrast with the autumn leaves of the water lilies. Hoping to learn much from the forum as I'm still very much a beginner.
