Ideas for Angelfish

I'm after some inspiration please!

I really fancy redoing one of my tanks for Angelfish. But I'm a bit stuck on ideas. I want to go low-tech, but that's about as far as I've got!! So, if you were going to scape a low tech 3ft tank for a few angels, how would you do it? What would you put in it hardscape-wise as well as planting?
"Bogwood and amazon swords" spring to mind at first! But I'd ideally like to do something a bit different and a bit more interesting visually.

If anyone's got any pics of angelfish tanks I could see to get some ideas from too, that would be fab.

check out George Farmers Rio Nanay biotope in the fish section..... its awesome, low maintainence and low tech!

Google amazon biotope and plenty pop up otherwise there is plenty of angelfish scapes in the 'nature aquarium complete works' book which is fantastic for inspiration (£30), every scape lists all plants used too so no more 'guess the plant'!

A 3' tank can only really be considered as a temporary home for angles though - they do get pretty big!
