Lighting time increase?

Hi guys,

FINALLY got my CO2 levels sorted and dosing EI is going well.

Tank is Rio 180 and it has 2x 45w T5's

Lights are on at the min for 5 hours. How can I tell if its ok to increase time by an hour? Or is it trial and error?

If you increase the photo period then you will need to adjust everything else accordingly, CO2 and nutrients!

How do I adjust nutrients?

Doesn't take this into account.

Run it as is for a couple of weeks and then increase it after that, don't rush into it and get a green tank in the process, then increase the lights and see any differences then adjust if necessary.
