Planting aquarium using wabis

So the plants have been grown in soil instead of rockwool & have also been grown for longer.
The plants are then just placed on to the substrate or placed on rocks?

Foxfish you just place the wabi directly on the soil.
I think it's a great idea for fast planting, cheap yes, if you prepare them yourself in advance. If you buy them ... not sure.

You can easily see the benefit of not disturbing the roots but I guess the leaves might still melt durring the transaction period.
I wonder if Tropica will go with the flow..

Japan cultivated or otherwise, I'd do a bit of research on the Utricularia graminifolia before placing it in a shrimp tank! Isn't this plant meant to produce vacuum bladders for trapping small organisms?

Anyway, I like the idea of using soil plugs for quick planting, sort of what i've been doing already in my emerse setup. I imagine it'd be really useful for professional aquascapers.

It doesn't do that when it's growing underwater. 🙂
