How do sparkling gouramis handle high flow?
I know they inhabit slow moving streams in the wild but are they adaptable to higher flow environments?
Turnover at the minute is around 800lph (alegedly) in a 120l tank and they are fine but i want to upgrade the filter to a crystalprofi 1501.
If i have to remove these fish i will be killed and burried.
May be an excuse to set up another tank though :)

Depends what you mean by high flow...mine did ok in a tank with about 10x capacity turnover/hr. But then the murdering little BEEPs weren't in there long; I had to remove them before they dismembered all my shrimp. Nice looking fish tho'...and intelligent.

As long as you provide sheltered areas (which they'll set up as their territory) they should be fine. If it's all open water then the answers probably no
