My latest attempt at growing pinnatifida low tech reveals a couple if things. Plants dumped nearly all their old leaves within a couple of days of being submersed. The stems that are shaded the most have started to send out small submersed leaves.

Question - how long do stem plants last in a tank before it becomes neccessary to trim and replant? This is high tech etc.
I assume you've done the 'red section' on tgm website. Check out extraplant- they have some less common stuff, although i have not checked specifically for reds. Anyway - i am very interested in your choices. a red Monte Carlo would be awesome
1-2 grow are pretty good value, some of the smaller plants- the tubs are crammed . Plus they are contamination free and ready to grow submerged. HC and and stuff like Cuba and Monte Carlo are ridiculously good value in 1-2 grow.
it is not native i reckon, ( alba was brought in by the romans i think) any flowers? next guess- nymphoides peltata. until it flowers you wont know for sure. also, might not survive indoor temps. btw, they hate high water flow areas.

no. Mine was not with that company. In fact my last plant order was with planted tanks and i was very happy with all they sent.... Maybe you got a bad day?
