My plants did'nt seem to be doing well. Browning , yellowing etc. Also when my drop checkers where a nice green my fish were gasping and i had a high death rate for a while. I just could'nt seem to get the balance right.It was'nt for the wont of trying Gary

Hi all I have had enough of my plants now. Can't get it the way i want it. My plants and my fish seemed to do better when i was low tech. I have now ripped out 50% of my plants and turned off the co2. Is it still ok to ei dose. Gary

Hi I am using 4dkh with added bromo blue from AE. It's a bit hard to read as it is light in colour so i was adding an extra drop of reagent from my red sea drop checker. Makes the dc easier to read but i have read that this could be inaccurrate.Has anyone any thoughts on this as if i turn...

Yes i use a DC with 4dkh. Stay green, bluer green in the morning. When light are on its a lime green. Turned the c02 done so the DC is a darker green. Hope i don't get a burst of algae.

I run a pump at night with a venturi.The rest of my fish are fine.

Hi Nothing jumps out. Just found them dead. They all seemed fine the night before and where feeding as normal. I have never had this happen to my fish. I have alot of fish for years.I had introduced these fish(guppies and mollies) within the last month. Never lasted long at all. Cheers Gary

Hi all Any of you had any experience of kepping guppies or Mollies in a high tech set up. Is the co2 too much for these fish as i have had more fish funerals in the past month than i have ever had. No Guppies left and one Mollie left. Regards Gary

Hi All Was tring to get rid of a bit of BBA on Sunday when i brushed the leaves of the affected plant with easy carbo at low tide and now i think i have burnt the leaves as they have turned brown. Should i leave it a see if the plant recovers or should i trim the bad leaves off...
