Do you have a fan in the luminaire too? or do you just have some form of heat sink? or both? Also do you have the LEDs open or do you have something that screens/protects from moister/splashing?

Well I got two Siamese Flying Foxes and they've pretty much stuck together since they were put in. May get a couple more!

Yours is a glowing advertisement for DSM! and it looks really nice. I would suggest moving your drop check so that it's not directly above the Co2 diffuser.

Yeah my Assassin Snail did more ambushing than chasing across tanks. They would move out and attack any passing morsel tho. Pretty horrific way to go too!

A little big if GSA will probably lend to a more natural looking tank so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Just keep an eye on it. Your tank is looking nicer and nice with each update. All you need to do is finish that damn spray bar! It'll be interesting to see the effect the change...

Re: The Transparent Tank Challenge I have no experience with LEDs but know that TGM is not stocking them as they aren't able to get the same results from them as they can from other "traditional" lighting systems. I don't think you need to get your plants pearling for them to grow healthily...

A thought to help, is that if you use both filters you could use shorter spray bars on each which should increase the exit velocity of the water from the holes and meaning that the flow should travel deeper into the tank. As you're not concerned about Co2 dispersement you could have them meet in...

How are you liking your Ottos? I think they have to be one of my most favourite fish. They're full of character and can happily chase each other round and round the tank. I personally think they really resemble sharks whilest swimming!
