Hey guys, the demos were a success but the attendance very low, despite local advertising. It's a shame really because it further instills my belief that there are still so many people who just don't care about plants in the aquarium. I answered more questions about "why did my fish die" than...

1) You are right about the bacteria but it should be fine for the trip, i've never had a bacteria bloom or similar before. 2) If you have a european adapter then bring it, along with a UK extension. 3) I bet it looks super swish!

Thats an outrage! I've become more despondent about the competition since finding out that only the top 100 are judged properly. That particular tank has a good basis but that's not what the competition is about is it? In recent years i've seen awesome scapes in the 800s and horrific ones above...

There isn't a cut, all entries should be included unless you've "broken the rules". I'd be very surprised if Graeme's 1800l bad boy didn't make the cut anyway, the best aquascape i've ever seen in real life!

Why so negative garuf? I can assure you it's nothing like the Hydor one, I had one of those and it was rubbish! This one is awesome, it's got a proper sexy little metal reg and it's accurate as heck. The diffuser is the standard little one like the Dennerle one or the unbranded ones from ebay...
