    The Elassoma evergladei are a coldwater species so I think the tap water should be fine,they like it about 20°C. I kept them years ago and they are such a cracking little fish. They can be a bit tricky to feed but if you get a micro worm or grindal worm culture they should alright.

    I have always had a soft spot for Jacks not kept them yet but hopefully one day I will. The only large cichlid I have kept was a Gold Saum which was a great fish and was pretty gutted when he died :(

    Hi guys I got myself 6 wowarae ricefish a few months ago from Kesgrave tropicals. I am looking to breed these guys but I don't how to sex them I know I have males as they display to each and is quite a stunning site. Any help would be great.
