@foxfish thinking about not modifying my Fluval FX6 but just adding a new pump to power the external reactor. Is it possible to "merge" the return flows of both filters together?

I will be making two versions of 25mm piping; 1 with 5mm holes (20 square mm) and 25 holes. 1 with 6mm holes (28 square mm) and 17 holes. If i read ceg correctly, you'd want the streams to hit the front glass, then it is mission accomplished :)

Well the FX6 is totally blowing away the co2 in my AM1000; i see mist in my tank which i never saw before :) The FX6 tube size is i think 25mm; which connects to 20mm eheim tubing which then goes through the 16mm port of the AM1000 so this makes sense that flow is to high (a lot of pressure)...

Any updates? I currently have a aquamedic 1000 (previously attached to an Eheim 2178) and now i have a Fluval FX6 which has way more output so i need a new co2 reactor :)
