Darrel, thanks for the reply. There's already plenty of plastic cement on it, I was just going to cover up the leaky corners with silicone.
Perfect Darren, I'll look out for it :D
Thanks for the info guys :D
I've just picked up an 80L split tank (as in it has 3 sections) it has a small leak in the corner. I'm going to reseal it, but dont know what silicone is best for acrylic?
Any advice appreciated !
Cheers

Darren check this out. I'd love to see it done on a planted tank though! Would look much better.

Sorry guys, I do understand chemistry - I was just under the impression that this was placed into water (in which case if there was an anode and cathode present - there would definitely be production of both the gases. Or am I totally wrong about the placement of the "magic black box" LOL.
But...
Doesnt electrolysis just split water into hydrogen and oxygen ? So in that case where does the CO2 come from?
Also, I wouldn't wouldn't want an aquarium that was bubbling with H gas, what is somebody lit a ciggy or a candle...
BOOM.
lol.
Maybe if too large of a one for the thickness of your glass, the magnet will be too powerful and end up scratching the glass. I use one in my 30L - and I never go near the substrate with it, just in case. I use a toothbrush for the glass near the substrate. Also a great snail killer :D
