    Ramshorn Snails?

Nerite eggs are very hard to remove from hardscape but not so bad to get off the glass but their cleaning prowess is worth the putting up with the eggs and lack of multiplication.

Which Substrate do you use for RCS?

The safest way to cycle a tank is to plant it and leave it for a few weeks. Fishless cycling is mainly used for tanks where people want to dump a load of messy fish on a tank at once, think malawi setup. If you dont add a large bioload straight away it makes the amonia method pointless

    When to introduce cherry reds

Dont wait on the plants, give it to them from the get go. If you are going to hold anything back make it light.

    When to introduce cherry reds

If your still getting cyano you need to up your nitrate dosing. As far as I'm aware there is no fresh water algae eater that will touch the stuff

    New Shrimp Tank

The only tester you need is a TDS meter and remineralise the ro using a mix like seachem equalibrium to the appropriate TDS level (TDS = Total Disolved Solids)
