    I've been experiencing a slite case of algae, which i believe it to be 'thread algae'. I have read that it can be caused by an excess of iron? If so how i can reduce the iron level in my tank? Tom

    Re suggestion on pygmy corys, are they diggers? don't want to upset the HC? Pygmy corys don't really dig they just like a rummage, I don't think they would manage to uproot HC! Tom

    That seems to be the problem with most tank, the equipment isn't powerful enough! Your best of just trying to sell the equipment and upgrading.

    Hagen does a light unit that fits the 130 but I think it would nearly cost the same as the tank :-o. Is there much difference between t8s and t5s?
