When people refer to puffers as messy, do they mean agressive towards the hardscape? i.e ripping up plants, disturbing gravels and soils, or do they mean with foods and feces?
Indeed Mate, I'll dig out the months issue and page number and scan it in. There are some beautiful but more aggressive red and black dwarfs too. But I'm falling for the standard type like yours. I do of course want them to be happy :-) how are they with lighting? I have read that they become...
yeah I did think PFK were maybe speaking about all dwarf puffers on a whole. I read there were four types of dwarf.. what are yours? sorry for the bombardment of questions!
cool thats interesting, im thinking about just sticking a sheet of perspex or glass over the top anyway just to be safe. I have read in PFK that they are very sensitive to water parameters? would you agree?
thanks for sticking these up for me mate :) its great to see :) people can see what you have achieved too. you said it was just a basic tank! its cool man! i love it. the lighting is awesome. do you worry about your puffers jumping out the water?
Wow.. They look like huge tank set UPS but their tiny.. Your perspective and proportioning skills are insane, best small tanks I have seen.. By far. :-)

Hello there buddy,
I noticed you have a fluval edge 23l tank.. I was interested in getting one of these for a planted aquarium.. fancied doing a low-tech iwagumi in one... but as you have had one I can ask you for your overall opinion of the tank? How did you find the lighting and ease of the...
love your eye for a good small tank.. one question about your tank holding dwarf puffers... did you not have issues with your puffers eating all your snails and plants?? Im assuming you didnt have any other fish in there? they look great by the way.
I personally think you made the right decision! I think internal filters unfortunately ruin the whole objective of creating such a relaxed and calm scape. How old is your tank? The gravel looks so tidy and clean. Soon ill have some photos up that i can show my very first iwagumi. Im already...
does anyone know how i can post my own threads and photos and projects ? would be really useful if I could actually get some feed back on my tank.. yours look beautiful by the way :)
This really is one of the most relaxing scapes I have seen. the side shot is beautiful. It really is a nice big project you have don. I would be proud of that hands down! As a suggestion, I think having a small group of black/silver angel fish really would enhance what is already an amazing set...
Can I ask what th green long tall grass is in the background? Did you position it near your filter outlet so it 'blew' the grass over in that shape? Love that look. Im thinking of going for that style soon...
