I tend to that that if you do plant, bury as far down as you can, then force the tweezers open and shake as you pull back to the surface. This disturbs the gravel slightly and allows it to fall back in to the little hole you've just made.

I just use Prime as my dechlorinator and after recharging the Purigen with bleach I soak it in prime for 24 hours to get rid of any leftovers.

V.good shop for those that don't drive. Their plants usually came in late Thursday so I usually pop down after work or Friday evening. Good selection and in recent months have really given the store a good clean. The dedicated plant section is soooo clean!

I use the K1600 in my Lido 120 and thought it would have been a bit to much direct flow. Much to my delight, fish love it.

I ran that with carbon and I'm amazed at the results. Fish look like their floating. I haven't even recharged it after 3 month use. Will most likely bleach next weekend.
