Costant trimming and high lighting (just my opinion) works for me

I think eleocharis sp mini only comes in tropica 1-2-3 grow if im not mistaken

Compared to the other Eleocharis species, i was just wondering what would happen if you didn't decide to trim it as it is a relatively short plant. As we know, trimming promotes growth. Will i see a stutter in growth?

dont think there is a conflict between the two plants as they have been in the same tank for months now. Filter is an eheim 2213, used in a 25l p@h cube, so flow is plentiful. anyway, got a new co2 cylinder on now, will let you know in a week time how they are doing.

nothing has been altered. same routine everyday which has been fine up until this week. Can't complain about growth, algae, etc.

if you look at the picture you can see there is some kind of deficiency from the staurogyne repens near the riccia.

get a new cylinder tomorrow from machinemart. fluctuating in term of starting at 5.5 bar then dropping to 5, then back to 5.5, etc. you get the picture. the cylinder has been running for two months now so i guess it is time for a refill.

You forgot to add CO2 in to the triangle, lol. How big is the tank? With the plants you listed, how long have they been in the aquarium before you havent notice any growth?

divide into individual plantlets for better results and just constant trimming otherwise it will grow out of control. i know all about it.

i think hairgrass or staurogyne repens are easy to start with.

so staurogyne repens is the same as staurogyne sp? only reason i ask is because of the labelling ive seen in shops.

How many types are there of this plant? is it just the one?

could dry dwarf hairgrass, not as demanding as other ground plants such as hc, etc...

should i use weeping moss or taiwan moss to create a tree effect?

It has to be cut from the stem. It not like Hairgrass where you can just trim it back.
