Hey guys the first planted tank I planted I did without any prior knowledge apart from looking at pictures on the web and reading articles in PFK. I decided on a plants, substrate etc. The plants I went for was HC and blyxa. The HC died off after a month which I then later discovered that it wasn't getting enough light and co2. The blyxa on the other hand is growing like a weed now and I am wondering if you guys have any tips on trimming this plant and if it is possible to take cuttings to move in to my larger tank?

Do not trim this plant, rather pull up, cut child stems from main stem and replant back.

It has to be cut from the stem. It not like Hairgrass where you can just trim it back.
