i got some E.Vivipara from plants alive that looked prity good quality, however there are little shoots on the top of the 'grass'. ive snipped a few off but they seem to be going a brown clour after snipping off!! what should i do. leave them, snip them or wait for runners to come out? cheers

i had the same problem with mine and ended up killing it all, after that i got 3 large mats that individually broke up into 4 1.5-2" square pads that were easier to root, have you tried a net and weigh down the sides with small pebbles to get it rooted?

i got some HC Cuba last week thats covered about 60% of the open floor. it seemed to perk up once i put it in the tank. ive got constantly runinng pressurised co2 thats always reading green with the drop checker and 4dkh solution. im also dosing with EI salts and have 2 t5s on for 11 hrs a day...
