Lovely looking fish. Shame I dont have the capacity to home some for you. Im sure if you bring some there will be takers. I can set up a holding tank on the day if you do decide to bring extras.
We are indeed a friendly bunch. Its good to put faces to usernames. Plus nothing better than first hand knowledge being shared whilst in good company.
The meets have been running for a few years now. So don't be afraid :)
London Fish Keeping Club are hosting a meet.
Date : Sunday 10th Feb

As per usual there will be food and drink supplied, as well as plants and equipment to be exchanged.
Feel free to bring anything you like...
Those who are driving there are limited parking outside living waters, you can park on the side street next to LW and the road is quite tight. Or you can park next to the petrol station.
Have fun and take lots of pics!
Glad you had a fun day out. It was well worth the drive for you guys :)
Will make it an annual thing. Living Waters might be holding a showcase in the future so will keep everyone updated.
The Pistos were lovely and seeing the live fry was a rare sight too :) Frothelmet reckons they literally...

Re: Live aquascapes at a London art gallery
It isnt that all bad Graeme. (heres the joke).....
You got a Souvenir in the form of a yellow envelope on your car from London :D

I met the 2008 Grand Prize scapist on my travels last year to Hong Kong. He is a very nice and humble man with plenty to talk about.
He had another scape in his shop this time and it was breathtaking! I hope hes entered!
Should have given me a call :D
I drive past marylebone as I head towards football at regents park.
Never mind. Something to remember next time eh :)
Theres forever works on the lines every weekend.
I didnt miss much then :(
I will definatly be popping there sometime in the year when I have to drop my lil brother to Stoke Uni.
Excellent pics, Reminds me of Hong Kong but all the good tanks packed into 1 store!
LOL. I can imagine that and that smug look on Paulos face. :P
Hehe, shame I cannot make it this time round. But will make it up there sometime as I will be needing to drop my little brother off at Stoke Uni in the near future :)
Ive never really had Heritage in my mind when I go visit the fish stores down that way. Possibly like LondonDragon I didnt feel it appealed to me for plants.
I usually just go straight to Living Waters as a monthly trip and now will pop to MA Morden if Planter is around to say hello.
Likewise. Me and the wife just got home. Paulo asked us over to his and now we have to head back out for dinner party :)
Nice meet and will look forward to the pics.
Rik
If you are taking the train down I think you can also get one with travel card.
Might cost a little more but saves you having to go to the machines to queue up to buy one and find "Morden" :D
Have a look into this, else this will give you an idea on prices -...
This is looking great. Looking forward to this. Although last friday I was forced to visit Living waters and MA because my friend wanted to get some fish food lol.
Theres some roadworks happening in Streatham though so thought you lot might want to know. The diversion was about 3 miles away...
Well depending on who else might be interested I best brush up my photography skills :)
Hopefully LondonDragon might give me some tips lol.
I will happily do some reportin for UKAPS :)
I hope to go on a fish farm visit.
Anyone going to this next year?
http://www.aquarama.com.sg/
Its on 26-29 May 2011 in Singapore.
Im planning to go Hong Kong during May next year so thought might as well pop over to singapore for 2 days.
Im aware a few people are interested in this.
Funnily enough I am doing this route tomorrow after our monthly visit to Costco :)
Nice to see some familiar members heading this way. I will be coming along to this.
