Just to remind everyone that to check TFL - Planned works calendar | Transport for London There is going to be bus replacements which means you can catch the bus replacement from Archway or take the 143 towards Brent Cross which will take you to the top of my road. Hope this helps. R

We are indeed a friendly bunch. Its good to put faces to usernames. Plus nothing better than first hand knowledge being shared whilst in good company. The meets have been running for a few years now. So don't be afraid :)

London Fish Keeping Club are hosting a meet. Date : Sunday 10th Feb Time : 1pm til 4pm Location : N2, East Finchley. 8-10min walk from station. As per usual there will be food and drink supplied, as well as plants and equipment to be exchanged. Feel free to bring anything you like...

Those who are driving there are limited parking outside living waters, you can park on the side street next to LW and the road is quite tight. Or you can park next to the petrol station. Have fun and take lots of pics!

Darren has some lovely new scapes up and look out for the Angel fish. Was so tempted to splash out on those :)

Glad you had a fun day out. It was well worth the drive for you guys :) Will make it an annual thing. Living Waters might be holding a showcase in the future so will keep everyone updated. The Pistos were lovely and seeing the live fry was a rare sight too :) Frothelmet reckons they literally...

Following last years visit. The plan is.... Saturday 7th April. Meetup at Maidenhead aquatics in Morden about 10am, and hang around there until everyone has turned up and had a look around. When you arrive please make your way to the aquatic section (not the main garden centre entrance!)...

Excellent. Matt is a good host and it was good to see him put together a Moss musuem :) Its about time.

You can just pinch some of Matts shrimps. However his wild strains are hard to spot :P

The theme of the meet is to rescape a 350l Tank. Few UKAPS members will be attending. Possibly an appearance from James Starr Marshall :)

http://en.iaplc.com/about/gp_works.html I met the 2008 Grand Prize scapist on my travels last year to Hong Kong. He is a very nice and humble man with plenty to talk about. He had another scape in his shop this time and it was breathtaking! I hope hes entered!

Ive never really had Heritage in my mind when I go visit the fish stores down that way. Possibly like LondonDragon I didnt feel it appealed to me for plants. I usually just go straight to Living Waters as a monthly trip and now will pop to MA Morden if Planter is around to say hello.

If you are taking the train down I think you can also get one with travel card. Might cost a little more but saves you having to go to the machines to queue up to buy one and find "Morden" :D Have a look into this, else this will give you an idea on prices -...

From what I remember Living Waters had a few tanks with Angel fish in.
