Ok... I got an EI package from aquarium plant food uk. It was a dry mix and I was instructed to mix it with 250ml of water and dose 5ml per 25l of tank water 3x a week. Now I messed up and added 300ml of water :( I have 30L of tank water also.... Someone do the maths for a 'like' :) Also work...

What's the tom barr method? I got a 17l tank with 9watt light for free :) so was going to set it up for my betta, as a low flow tank, thus low tech so would be interesting :)

Have a look at the diana walstad method if your after little to no water changes its a good way to go :)

I dose ATLEAST 15minutes before lights on, this gives the ferts enough time for the fert to be fully diluted into the water column and in every little bit of the tank. Aslong as you dose before or at lights on you shouldn't have any problems, me dosing before is probably abit OTT. Cheers ears.

Haha, too right Tom. The plan is to use up the ada stuff and then get EI mix to use in the bottles :shh: :silent: No one will ever know.... Unless they read this..... Or the EI mix isn't brown hahaha :shifty:
