i made a spraybar for my emersed setup which came out very neat. i heated a pin and pushed it straight through the pipe which made a neat hole. it didnt push the tube in when you push which i thought it might. only problem is that spraybars are very hard to clean

Re: TGM backgrounds i have the wilko stuff also in my opti. its really good, thick stuff. with my halide lighting on the wall behind it make the white look loads better.

i personally would get between 500ml and a litre. others may disagree

as a little tip from my experience, heat the outside edge more as it needs to stretch more. if you heat the inside too much it creases :thumbup:

i was just thinking where i could get one from too. they are pretty smart and will suite rimless tanks great. i looked on TGM a while ago and they dont have them on the site. maybe if you rang them they might get them :D

i think if i was going to get a new nano id get a dennerle. they are normally supplied with good substrate, good light, filter and heater so not bad price in my opinion

you can buy chillers which are very expensive or the cheaper alternative it a fan which you can buy for a few quid but i belive they are a little noisey and you loose a bit of water

id just go for a 20x15x15 i think the depth would been enough at that. iv got an opti thats 15 deep and it look loads bigger than the usual 12

if your room is average-warm temp which it will be this time of year you should be fine to take it out for a day and see what the temp is when you get home

well is just take the heater out for now and see what the temp does i dont have a heater in my nano and its allways about 24

you will find that alot of heater heat different to what it says on the heater. you will have to keep lowering the temp on the heater untill it gets to what you want, then you can turn it up or down :D although you say its allways at 27-28 it could be a problem with your heater unless your...
