decided to post up a little about my main tank which is an ongoing project like they all are lol.
sorry for the mess in the last pic but i havnt had time to trim the grass. also the twisted vallis has only been put in place a week ago and i need to get some more to make it look better.
tank and my knowledge of plants started life as this over 4 yrs ago
and after meeting Jim and Mark at TGM and a new tank it turned in to this but forgotten the date it was around about a year after TGM opened.
I then decided to replace the above tank and do a major rescape at the same time and this is the result of what i have learnt.

I decided to remove most of the Vallisneria nana i think it is and replace with twisted because i was finding that yes it looked nice but it soon blocked all the light out of the tank.
Tank specs now
24 x 18 x 18 open top tank
Eheim 2213 external
Eheim 2217 external
Aquamedic 1000 reactor
150W Pendant (on for 5 hours 5pm till 10pm)
CO2 injected (on for 5 hours 3pm till 8 pm)
