25cm cube aquarium

Hi all,

I want to set up a planted cube aquarium and was leaning towards a 25cm tank. Is this going to be too small to have any real livestock in, apart from snails and shrimp? Was thinking either a shoal of neon tetra size fish or a betta fish. If it is too small, would 30cm cube be the minimum?

All opinions welcome.

30cm is much too small for tertras. Have a look at the seriously fish website for guidance, it's very helpful.
