I've got a 2 ft high tank and i've heard that this will effect my WPG? I was wondering how much will it effect it by? The only thing i can find on the net is to use T5's, but it says nothing about how much it effects it by.

    I have an 120ltr tank, with 84w T5HO

    Thanks

You have more than enough light to grow most plants pretty well, what you need to think about next is the CO2 and fert regime to go with that amount of lighting.

it doesnt affect WPG, but the intenesity of certain tubes may not be high enough to penetrate to the bottom.

    T5s are fine however

Thanks guys, thats put my mind at rest. I'm already running a pressurised co2 system, i'm thinking about using dry ferts with the EI method, got some reading to do first though.
