Acrylic Hooded Aquarium!

Hi.
I’m not sure this will help but im sure that you can get acrylic laser cut online for the top of an existing 30cm cube (if you have or have your eye on?)
I laser cut mine at work and use Dennerle lid clips to hold them on.
I even get it cut so that I can grow plants out the top of the lid.
If this helps I can send you some more details on what thickness I use etc.
It will bend a little depending on your lighting etc?

Thanks for the reply, I will pass on that as I'm really looking for a hooded tank.
As I will probably modify the light in the hood.
Got eye on an Aqua One AquaStart.... unfortunately, it's not acrylic.

I modded my CFL version to add a TMC Mini LED 400 Tile. Added a canister filter but then couldn’t close the lid, I’m sure I could have modded it to work out better.
And then I took the lid off to add more gubbins.
It’s a robust tank, quit a job to hack the lid off!
