In the aquarium shops there is a lot of juggling around with Lily ID's.. Still wonder where the name giving Tiger Lotus sneaked in for the Nymphaea Zenkeri.. Lotus is probably some ancient name giving which keeps hanging around. Regularly offered with different leave shapes. Sometimes with an arrow shape and sometimes round shaped and both sold as Tiger Lotus red or green. There is also one around which goes by the name Dwarf lily or Thai Lotus or Nymphaea Stellata (nouchali) which sometimes has an arrow shaped leaf also with red/brown or just green. :) But also seen pictures of this one much rounder.

My best guess is if not misidentified, it probably depends a lot on light and other parameters how a lily can grow and color.

Well I got bored I went for a full rescape :)

Really love the tree I've made from a bit of spider wood.
