this is my first attempt at plants, my queries ore twofold
1: In the collection of plants I bought were 3 lotus bulbs, instructions said plant with shoots at 45 degree, only 1 had visible shoot and these grew about 1 cm in the first 36 hours and a further 1 cm in the next 24 hours, then stopped. The bulb put out other shoots that did the same, is this normal, the shoots start off green then turn woody and brown. any suggestions.
2: The hair grass has formed plantlets at the tip of the blades and these are forming rootlets, do I cut them off and plant them or leave them to drop off first?
all other plants including ''red'' ones are thriving.
