Betta fish identification

We’ve inherited this Betta and I’m wondering what type it is. Can anyone tell from this photo? Hard to get a good photo at present! Haha

Tank is currently unscaped as I wasn’t expecting to get it yesterday!

This is a B. Splendens.

There are hundreds of colour and fin morphs now, all selectively bred purely for the hobby.

Yours may have some sort of “commercial” name. But ultimately they’re selectively bred B.Splendens.
