I have just been for a walk during my lunch and spotted a bird which I have never seen before.

Scouring the internet the only thing that looks remotely like it is an Hawaiian Honey Creeper?

Surely Not?

Could it have been a crossbill?

If it was Yellow, it likely has been a Golden Oriole (Oriolus oriolus). It baffled me the first time i saw it shooting buy, they are pretty fast flyers i thought wtf that's a big Canary!!
You only see them in summer time, they are migrants, hop to Africa when it get to cold..

Which Hawaiian Honey Creeper? There are several, including red, blue and yellow and black predominant colour.
Also where did you see it? If you're posting from Hawaii that could make a difference :)
