Hi, in some hours (believe me, these days I spend lots of hours in front of my tank) I've found this on the redmoor. It's all covered, it's smooth like velvet when you touch it, very easily removed from wood.
I've had during these week plenty of white fungus also on the redmoor (I finally didn't remove it).
The stuff is everywhere, even in areas with very good flow. Plants have no algae (at least for the moment). Is that brown diatom algae?

Setup in day 8; 60 liters; 6 hours light/day; 48W T5; 6 hours CO2 pressurized; EI ferts

More details about setup: #2 | UK Aquatic Plant Society
More details about CO2 adjustment: ph readings, dropchecker always green and aquasoil... any relationship? | UK Aquatic Plant Society

This is quite normal for redmoor. All the redmoor I've ever used has done this.

It'll soon go, the shrimp love it!
