Bubble counter help

Hello guys, having issues trying to add water to my Ada & Cal Aqua bubble counters as the water just empties as I top them up. Do I need to install check valves directly underneath to stop this or am I being completely thick? (highly possibly). Only ever setup the normal bubble counters with screw tops.

Yes, attach a non-return check valve below the bubble counter and one on the Co2 tubing after the regulator!

You can also fill them with food-grade glycerine (baking aisle) instead of water so the liquid won't evaporate.

Quick tip. When changing your cylinder etc… take extra care not to tip the bubble counter else the liquid may travel past the check valve and you can’t get it back without disconnecting.
